It’s not really an hour (usually more like 30–45 minutes), but the effect is pure magic — and it makes for some of the most flattering, dreamy, and cinematic photos you’ve ever seen.

When Does Golden Hour Happen?

Golden Hour changes slightly depending on the season and location, but here in Texas, it's generally:

• Morning Golden Hour: 15–45 minutes after sunrise

• Evening Golden Hour: 30–60 minutes before sunset
