I’m Deborah Chetwood, the photographer behind Texas Vogue Photography. Photography, for me, is more than a profession—it’s a passion rooted in art, storytelling, and heart. My journey is informed not only by creative training at the University of Texas at Austin and over 20 years refining my craft—but also by life’s deeper connections.

As the spouse of a Gulf War veteran, I hold a special reverence for all who’ve served. Their sacrifices are woven into my commitment to capturing life’s moments with gratitude and care. To express this appreciation, I offer a special discount on regular portrait sessions (excludes mini sessions) to veterans—my humble way of honoring their service.

My specialties span family, couples, maternity, senior portraits, headshots, and weddings. Whether we’re outdoors among Austin’s beautiful landscape or in the comfort of the studio, I aim for authenticity, warmth, and moments that feel real. I’m more than just a photographer—I’m a wife, a mom, and someone who understands how quickly life moves. One moment I was holding my little girl, and the next she was fully grown. That’s why I believe so deeply in the importance of preserving life’s fleeting moments.

I also have a soft spot for big, loving Golden Retrievers—they remind me daily to enjoy the simple joys in life. Those little reminders of love, family, and connection inspire the way I approach photography.
