For me, that whisper has been growing louder—calling me back to the very place where my creative journey began.

Most people know me through the photography side of Texas Vogue, but long before I stood behind a camera, I stood in front of an easel.

I earned my BFA in Studio Art, focusing on painting and photography, pouring countless hours into color theory, composition, texture, and light. Painting was my first artistic language—the place where I learned how emotion lives inside color and how a surface can transform with just the right touch.

And while photography eventually became my main medium, that painter inside me never disappeared. She simply waited.

Today, she’s stepping back into the light.
